Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG)

Clinical practice guidelines help address conditions frequently seen in patients at your practice. All CPGs included have been reviewed and approved by CalOptima Health's Clinical Quality Improvement Committee. All CPGs are connected to links that are simple to access and include algorithms for quick reference. A detailed document accompanies each algorithm. CalOptima Health is confident you will find these CPGs valuable to your daily practice. Please contact CalOptima Health's Quality Improvement department if you would like to see links to other CPGs available on this site. We are happy to include additional CPGs once approved by the Clinical Quality Improvement Committee.

MCG Transparency Guidelines  

Wellness services are provided in all threshold languages at no cost to CalOptima Health members.

The goal is to assist providers in promoting patient self-management.  

To refer a member, please complete a Health and Wellness Referral Form found under Commom Forms.  

We also have Provider Health Education Resources available.

Shared Decision-Making  Shared Decision-Making enables providers and members to work together in establishing the most optimal treatment plan.
