Tanner is responsible for all CalOptima Health’s compliance programs, policies and practices. He also ensures that the agency complies with federal, state and local regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. He brings more than 30 years of health care experience in Southern California, including more than 15 years managing Medicaid compliance at SCAN Health Plan and Molina Healthcare in multiple states. He has overseen various health products, such as Medi-Cal, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D and marketplace. Tanner holds an MBA from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Science in business management from the Ohio State University.
