WHAT: To boost access to COVID-19 vaccines for low-income, hard-to-reach CalOptima members, CalOptima and County of Orange agencies are partnering to hold vaccine clinics at the CalOptima offices, on May 15 and 22 (for first doses) and June 5 and 12 (for second doses). In addition to offering vaccination for up to 1,200 people, the events will feature resource fair booths with health screenings and information about supportive services. Members were invited via a personal text and offered a $25 Member Health Reward incentive for each dose they receive on-site at CalOptima.

- Individuals accessing free preventive health screenings, including carotid artery, thyroid and bone density screenings
- Children enjoying a kids’ activity zone
- Social Services Agency representatives discussing CalFresh, Medi-Cal enrollment and other public assistance programs, offering service from a Mobile Response Vehicle
- 211 OC representatives offering information about community resources to support basic needs
- Mobile food trolly offering signups for future access to fresh food and produce
- Diaper distribution for families with infants and young children
