• CalOptima’s OneCare Connect Cal MediConnect Program (Medicare-Medicaid Plan) will end December 31, 2022.
• Members will automatically transition to OneCare, CalOptima’s Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan, on January 1, 2023.
• Members do not need to do anything to enroll in OneCare.
• Members will continue to receive their health care benefits and will not have any gap in coverage. They will not have premiums, fees or deductibles to obtain services from providers.
• Members will be notified in the mail about the transition, but you can talk to them so they know they are covered after the change.
