Chairman Donald P. Wagner was elected to the Orange County Board of Supervisors in March 2019. He represents the Third District, which includes approximately 630,000 diverse residents in the communities of Anaheim Hills, Irvine, Lake Forest, North Tustin and Tustin, Orange, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, the unincorporated canyons, Villa Park, and Yorba Linda. Chairman Wagner is a former Community College District Trustee, six-year Assemblyman and past Mayor of Irvine. He is also a practicing attorney and UCLA Bruin for life. His 20 years in public service reflect a dedication to public safety and quality of life improvements. He has expanded public resources, without raising taxes, as he did in 2019 when he reopened Irvine Lake for the public. Chairman Wagner currently serves on several committees, including the Orange County Fire Authority, Orange County Transportation Authority, the Transportation Corridor Authority, Southern California Association of Governments, Orange County Council of Governments, and the Orange County Sanitation District (alternate). Chairman Wagner and his wife live in the unincorporated area of his District and previously in Irvine, where they raised and educated their three children. He was appointed a CalOptima Health director (alternate) in February 2023.
