Opportunities for Growth

There’s a saying, “Bloom where you’re planted.” Employees and CalOptima make this happen together. Employees have a responsibility to be curious, to learn and to grow in knowledge and skills. And we have a responsibility to encourage them by providing opportunities for growth and education to enhance success.

This program is designed to enhance and elevate leadership skills and abilities for our directors, managers, supervisors and high-potential employees. It includes a peer mentoring component that enables leaders from different departments to build relationships.

Career seminars help employees develop a career path, plan their next steps and learn about resources available as they grow within CalOptima.

CalOptima’s program leverages the power of individual mentoring to provide guidance and support to employees pursuing professional and personal development.

Contracted vendors provide employees with in-depth training on computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others.

CalOptima provides reimbursement for employees to pursue advanced certifications and degrees.
