Sanchez leads the implementation of programs for older adults and Medicare-eligible individuals, including Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs). He has more than 25 years of experience in managed health care, including overseeing Medi-Cal, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Advantage Special Needs and dual enrollment plans. Sanchez has held executive roles at Innovative Integrated Health Community Plans, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and CHOC Health Alliance, as well as previous executive positions at CalOptima Health. He studied microbiology at Arizona State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.
