The Member Advisory Committee (MAC) has 17 voting members, each representing a group of CalOptima Health members. For example, MAC seats are designated for adults, seniors, children, foster children, Medi-Cal members, OneCare members, people with disabilities, people with mental health needs and a representative from the County of Orange Social Services Agency among others.

Whole-Child Model Family Advisory Committee
Serving our community’s children
Simplifying access to services for children with complex needs
The Whole-Child Model Family Advisory Committee (WCM FAC) supports CalOptima Health’s integration of California Children’s Services (CCS) into Medi-Cal managed care, with the goal of improving the health care experience for children with complex needs. The WCM FAC includes up to nine family representatives and up to four seats for representatives from organizations that serve children with CCS conditions.

Collaborating the strengthen Orange County’s health system
The Provider Advisory Committee (PAC) has 15 voting members, each representing an essential component of the health care delivery system. For example, PAC seats are designated for allied health services providers, behavioral/mental health providers, community health centers, health networks, hospitals, long-term care providers, nurses, physicians, pharmacists and a representative from the Orange County Health Care Agency among others.

Investment Advisory Committee
Safeguarding financial resources
Fostering CalOptima Health’s fiscal accountability and stability
With guidance from outside experts, CalOptima Health carefully manages investments to ensure access to resources and financial stability. During quarterly meetings, the Board of Directors Investment Advisory Committee (IAC) applies knowledge from the commercial banking, financial accounting, financial management and investment brokerage fields to benefit CalOptima Health operations and our members.
