Andrew Do

Supervisor Andrew Do was elected to the Orange County Board of Supervisors in 2014. He represents the First District, which includes Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Westminster, Midway City and portions of Fountain Valley. Born in Vietnam, Do grew up in Orange County. He received his bachelor’s degree from UC Davis and his Juris Doctor degree from UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. After law school, he taught as an adjunct professor at California State University, Fullerton and then served as Judge Pro Tem at Orange County West Municipal Court. Do went on to serve as an Orange County Deputy District Attorney, working to prosecute many violent criminals and sex offenders. Do was also a former Garden Grove City Councilmember. In service to his profession, he was elected to the Board of Directors for the Orange County Bar Association, and he has been president of both the Asian Bar of California and the Vietnamese-American Bar Association of Southern California. Do currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Transportation Authority. He is married to Orange County Superior Court Judge Cheri Pham, and they have two daughters. Do was appointed a CalOptima director in March 2015.
