Community Cancer Screening and Support

CalOptima Health has allotted $15 million in grants over two years to improve cancer awareness, make screenings more accessible and enhance the care experience for members during treatment. This effort aims to reduce late-stage cancer diagnoses and provide access to quality care for members across Orange County.

Cancer Screening and Support

Removing Barriers to Cancer Care

Our mission is to serve members with care and respect while removing barriers to health services. The Comprehensive Community Cancer Screening and Support Program focuses on finding cancer early and reducing late-stage diagnoses for breast, cervical, colorectal and lung cancers. Key efforts include:

  • Raising cancer awareness among high-risk members and local communities.
  • Making it easier for members to access screenings and treatment.
  • Supporting members throughout their cancer care journey.
