Event to highlight CalOptima Health OneCare Medicare and PACE programs, Medi-Cal and CalFresh enrollment, screenings and vaccinations, and more for seniors and individuals with disabilities
ORANGE, Calif. (October 17, 2024) — CalOptima Health is hosting a Senior Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Brookhurst Community Center in Anaheim. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to seniors and people with disabilities, offering a day dedicated to health, wellness and enjoyment.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about CalOptima Health’s Medicare Advantage plan, OneCare (HMO D-SNP), and CalOptima Health PACE. Both programs provide valuable health care and support services to eligible members.

Additional event highlights include Medi-Cal and CalFresh enrollment assistance, health screenings, and flu and COVID vaccines. Attendees can access community resources for basic needs, mental health support, and services for older adults and people with disabilities.

The fair will also feature healthy snacks, opportunity drawings, and a variety of resources aimed at improving attendees’ health and wellness. Participants are encouraged to bring the necessary documents for Medi-Cal and CalFresh enrollment to take full advantage of the services offered.
Documents for Medi-Cal Enrollment:
- Proof of California residency
- Household income (earned and unearned)
- Tax filing status (for everyone in your household)
- Note: additional verifications may be required if you are aged, blind, disabled, or if you are receiving Medicare
Documents for CalFresh Enrollment:
- Copy of your ID
- Proof of any income
- Proof of immigration status (for non-citizens)
- Proof of child support paid (optional but can increase benefit amount)
- If you are 60+ or disabled, proof of medical expenses (optional but can increase benefit amount)
