Victor Jordan

Victor Jordan is chief operating officer and health network executive for Providence Southern California, a large health system with 13 hospitals and several allied organizations that serves Los Angeles and Orange counties and the High Desert. Jordan played a key role in uniting the region following the 2016 merger of Providence Health & Services and St. Joseph Health. He is accountable for day-to-day regional operations, including growth, quality, employee engagement, productivity and financial performance. With more than 20 years of experience at various large health systems, Jordan is passionate about organizational effectiveness, caregiver and patient experience, as well as mentoring and developing future leaders. Before joining Providence, he served as executive vice president/chief financial officer of Detroit Medical Center, a seven-hospital health system. Jordan earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from UC Irvine. He and his wife have two children. Jordan was appointed a CalOptima director in August 2020.
